Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to games published by Bopalu (the "Games") and to bopalu.com. By downloading or playing a Game, you agree to these Terms.

1. App Store terms

Games downloaded from the Apple App Store are licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These Terms add to the Standard EULA. If the two conflict, the Standard EULA applies.

2. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Games on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or distribute the Games except as permitted by law.

3. In-app purchases and virtual items

  • Some Games offer optional in-app purchases. Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy.
  • Virtual items and in-game currency have no real-world monetary value, can't be exchanged for money or anything of value, and can't be transferred or sold.
  • The Games contain no real-money gambling and nothing in them can be won or cashed out for money.
  • Payments, billing and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Non-consumable purchases can be restored from the Game's Settings using the same Apple Account.

4. Advertising

Some Games are free and supported by ads. Our Privacy Policy explains how advertising works and your choices.

5. Fair play

Please don't cheat, exploit bugs, use automation tools, or interfere with the Games or other players. We may suspend features or access if these Terms are broken.

6. Updates and availability

We may update, change or discontinue Games or features at any time, including to fix issues or meet legal requirements. Some updates may be needed to keep playing.

7. Intellectual property

The Games, including their artwork, music, code and the Bopalu name and logo, belong to Bopalu or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimers

The Games are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we don't guarantee that they will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Bopalu is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability relating to a Game is limited to the amount you paid for that Game or its in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim. We don't exclude liability where the law doesn't allow it, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta. If you're a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll change the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you in the Games.
